NEW YEAR’S EVE!

It’s New Year’s Eve and we hope you have had fun so far. The club opens at 11am for lunch, libation and a little dancing we hope. We will close at 5pm and reopen the doors at 7pm to start the Celebration! Get your dancing shoes on cause the floors are going to be hot with DJ’s Gary Bass, David Harris and Jimmy Buffkin. Champagne toast and party favors and some of the best shag music in the whole wide world will be provided for you this evening. We hope you will join us to bring in 2013. We still have a few $25 tickets for grabs. This entitles you to all of the festivities tonite and lunch tomorrow. Grab you one before they get gone. We are going to have some fun tonite Ladies and Gentlemen! Our Master DJ himself, Jerry Franklin Bass, is going to be in The Booth Tonite! I can feel the heat off of that floor right now and considering it is 33 degrees outside, that feels pretty ding dang good! The Club will open at 4pm with Mama Brenda at the Grill! The rest of the gang will come in later and it’s on! Don’t forget to get signed up for the best New Year’s Eve Party on the beach. Boy do we have another surprise in store for you. Will let you know in a few. Those of you who don’t come are going to be SOOOOO Disappointed! Oh well, your loss is somebody else’s gain! NMB Christmas Parade Tonite!

A cool nite, a Christmas Parade, a hot toddy or cold one, right in front of The Fat Man’s House! Can you think of anything better for a Saturday nite besides dancing the nite away? Well you can do all of the above this evening. The parade starts at 5:30pm and they are closing the streets at 5:00pm, so get ready for the nite get in the parking lot before the streets close and spend the evening with us. You will not be able to get in the parking lot until 7:30 or after because the neighbor next door has the parking lot beside us all gated up and you will NOT be able to get in the back way. The club will open at 4pm and all bars will be open so you don’t have to miss a bit of the parade. DJ Jimmy Buffkin will be in the DJ booth following the parade. Come party with us tonite. The New Year’s Packages are rolling in. Thanks for getting them in early. Our first prize winner has been reached and we are almost to the second one. You will get your prize packages throughout the evening on New Year’s Eve. We have some very good prizes too! Go ahead and get them in. SOS cards are available, Fat Harold’s books, t-shirts, hats, etc. I failed to mention we even have Fat Harold’s wine. Now what a novelty Christmas gift that would be. Happy Sunday!

Happy Sunday to all of our friends! We would like to thank you all for your company and kind words this weekend. What a blast was had by all! Lulu is going to be open for lunch at 11ish and DJ Jason Justice is playing music late this afternoon into the night. Little Terry will venture in around 5pm to open the Big Bar.Thanks to all for everything and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Time to Reflect?

Heck No! You can do that next week. It’s time to PARTY! Two Bands today. SEA CRUZ takes the stage at 1pm and plays til 3pm. THE RICK STRICKLAND BAND takes the stage at 9pm and plays til 1pm! The Club Opens at 11am with Lunch with Lulu. Today’s Special: PORK CHOPS (grilled only) smashed taters, green beans, corn and cornbread, tea or soda! Just $6.50. When it’s out, it’s out folks. We will close at 5pm today to get ready for the PARTY OF THE YEAR! The club will reopen at 7pm. Sorry NO RESERVATIONS, first come, first serve! Don’t forget 94.9 Countdown tomorrow morning at 10am. Lulu will have lots of “Hair of the Dog”! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

How we doing so far? Did you have fun last nite? Well the party has only begun. Tonite DADDY BO & The SHAKERS will be SHAKIN THE SHACK starting at 8pm. DJ Gary Bass will accompany them and in the back room DJ Lanny Elmore plays your favorites. $10 cover unless you have the NYE package ticket. CLUB OPENS TODAY at 11am. Lunch with Lulu special is Hamburger Steak, FF, Salad, bread, tea or soda. Just $6.50 until 2pm or until it runs out. Which ever comes first. The Fun Team is ready to have some fun. Are YOU?

And The Party BEGINS!

If you haven’t made up your mind what to do for New Year’s, it’s time. The PARTY starts tonite at Fat Harold’s Beach Club with JIM QUICK & COASTLINE taking the stage at 8pm. DJ Gary Bass will entertain you during the band breaks and afterwards in the front room and DJ “Jammin” Jimmy Buffkin will light up the floor in the back room. $10 cover charge or Get a weekend pass for everything for $50 per person. I guess we have some left, not really sure. Lulu will open for lunch at 11am. Blue Cheese Burgers, FF, pickle, tea or soda just $6.50. The Fun Team is ready to close this year out with a BANG. Come help us get it started.

It’s Almost Here!

It’s almost out with the OLD and in with the NEW. I’m surely ready, how about YOU? Let us know what we can do to improve our service to you (besides an extra smoking room, shorter tables and taller chairs, mean bartenders, possum sandwiches on the menu, robots in the bathrooms, disco…lots of disco music, 7 DJ’s each nite…one for each hour, more liquor poured, less money charged and on and on….). The Fat Man and his Staff hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and can get out of that SNOW and get to the beach PRONTO…We still have a few tickets left for New Years. Remember if you don’t want to buy the package you can pay $10 at the door everynite EXCEPT New Year’s Eve. You MUST have the weekend pass to party on NYE. The club opens today at 4pm with Mama Brenda getting you in the mood at NO Charge. DJ David “Hey Boy” Harris will be playing the tunes starting around 7pm.
