Daddy Bo and The Fantastic Shakers take the stage to “Shake The Shack” at 1pm today! This is gonna be a PARTY ya’ll! Judy teaches her lessons at 10am and Ronnie and Lulu open the grill at 11am. All bars will be manned with our wonderful Fun Team to make sure you can get plenty of libations. We hope you can join us today. Fat Harold, Shannon, Joy and Gary, along with the other Staff hope you are enjoying yourselves and will come and spend the day with us. Heck why don’t you just come and stay until Sunday. SOS Kick-Off Party, TONITE!

Come and join us today and tonite for OUR first day of SOS! Club opens at 11am and there will be NO LUNCH SPECIALS until after SOS! You can still have LUNCH WITH LULU, cause she will be right there! SHANNON and the GANG will cover the nite shifts. Tonite is our ANNUAL SOS KICK-OFF PARTY, which by the way has been going on for YEARS! Sunday at Fat Harold’s!

WOW! We have another beautiful day! Let’s Thank God for everything that he has given us and pray for the families and loved ones of the 9/11 tragedy on this day, the 10 year anniversary. The club opens today at 11am. Join us for lunch, dinner, cocktails and dancing. Today from 3pm until 5pm there will be a Juniors Shag and Social in the back room. Pat and Mimi would like to see a “big” crowd today! Terry comes in this evening, joined by Sean at the grill and DJ Jason Justice in the booth! The Fun Team (aka The Crazy Crew) is trying their best to get themselves geared up for the next 2 weeks of shaggin mayhem. The “key word” for SOS this year is “patience”. The Calm Before The Storm…SOS!!!

Get your dancing shoes on and get out this weekend and dance where you can cause you know the drill…the dance floors will be packed for the next 2 weekends with SOSers. It’s just unbelieveable that it’s here ALREADY! Lulu and Jack are cooking Fresh Fried Spots and all the trimmings today in The Shag City Grill. (Sorry about the pork chops) Guess you’re gonna have to wait a while for them since we don’t do specials on SOS! Oh well, absence makes the heart grow fonder and they will be back in a few weeks. The Fun Team is ready for the weekend and DJ Lanny Elmore (front room) and DJ Milton White (back room) will keep you dancing all nite long! Lulu is cooking up some Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwiches today with Sweet Tater FF. The Fun Team will be ready for you this evening. DJ Butch Metcalf is in the front room playing for the contest and DJ Jay Nelms is in the back room to play for you hard core dancers that aren’t interested in the contest. Labor Day Shag Contest Starts TONITE!

We’re going to get things started today when Lulu opens the grill at 11am. Pork Chops, the Friday staple, is on the menu with some smashed taters, green beans and corn bread! Then it’s on to Happy Hour and FUN with The Fun Team. Get here early to get a seat and the Juniors are going to put on a show. Come show them some love so they will want to “Keep the Tradition” going!
