Once again, it’s Laid Back Sunday and time to get to know another one of your Fun Team! Today we get to know Pam Moore. You’ll usually find Pam in the Shag City Grill. Pam was born and raised in Aiken, SC.
Question #1: When did you first come to work at Fat Harold’s and which club?
Pam: Fat Harold’s Beach Club in 2008.
Question #2: Describe your funniest interaction with a customer here at Fat Harold’s.
Pam: Had a customer spend 30 minutes reading our short menu. He then asked for a shrimp basket..I said “Nope”. He then asked for a fish basket…All I could do was stare at him. LOL
Question #3: What do you see yourself doing 5 years from now?
Pam: Hopefully, retired from teaching and working at Fat Harold’s & babysitting my granddaughter.
Question #4: How would you describe yourself?
Pam: Easy tempered, outgoing, ambitious, honest, trustworthy.
Question #5: Do you have pets? If so what type, names?
Pam: 2 grand-dogs…both labs.
Question #6: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Pam: A criminal prosecutor.
Question #7: Your favorite hangout when you were a teenager?
Pam: Draggin’ Main and a teen club called The Warehouse.
Question #8: How long have you been on the beach?
Pam: Moved to Mullins in ‘81…Started coming then.
Question #9: Your favorite music, dance or band in high school?
Pam: Journey & George Strait.
Question #10: Your first job, and how old were you?
Pam: 14 years old, Houndlake Country Club Tennis Shop
Question #11: What’s the funniest thing you’ve done in your lifetime?
Pam: I had an awesome new outfit to wear to a USC game. But, during the 1st quarter the seams started poppin’ open. Ended up running before I was undressed!
Question #12: Most embarrassing moment in your life?
Pam: In Augusta, GA I turned down a drink and a dance from a man and was cold to him. I then found out it was Charles Bronson, the actor.
Question #14: Is there anything you would like to do or accomplish that you haven’t already done?
Pam: Travel to the Islands and Ireland.
Question #15: Can you share something personal that most folks don’t know about you?
Pam: I was the first female licensed NASCAR Cup Winston Racing official at Myrtle Beach Speedway.
