Happy Friday to all of you Awesome people out there. Fat Harold’s is going to get the party started today at 1pm when the Shag City Grill opens it’s doors for some cool air, cold beer and quite a museum with a large dance floor to close your eyes and spin around in your own private memories in time! There will be a book signing tonight from local author Ben Matthews begining at 6pm. He has writtin another book and wanted to have his signing at one of his favorite places, right here at Fat Harold’s. Please come out and meet and greet with him. Excerpts from the book that I have read makes you not want to put it down. Sounds like a great beach book to me! At 4pm Happy will start and last until 7pm. At this time your DJ for the evening “Jammin” Jimmy Buffkin will enter the booth and bring this building ALIVE! No joke, he has this way about waking people up! We will party till the lights go out and start it all over again tomorrow at 1pm. The DJ for tomorrow evening is The Great Jerry Franklin (aka) Gary Bass! He’ll start shaking the shack around 7ish. Sunday Lil Terry opens the club at 4pm and Miss Ethel will be playing some fine music. Miss Ethel is the second cousin of Trixie Larue. Trixie Larue was a famous dance hall girl in the 40’s. She still comes to visit Lil Terry on occasions. Well that’s about all for this weekend. I will be back with you on Monday. Got some very important things to do in the swamp for a couple of days.
